Why Girls and Woman Love Bad Boys

To contact us Click HERE

Women fall for “bad boys” mostly because the women are evaluating t he men on short-term considerations, instead of the long-term considerations they should be using most often in deciding whether to date (much less “fall for”) the men.

why women and girl love bad boys

why women and girl love bad boys

Some-short term considerations that could get a woman in long-term trouble are that he is

…very exciting

…quite unconventional

…very handsome

…extravagant

…outrageous

…really spontaneous

I don’t mean to say that these are negative traits. Not at all; they can be either positive or negative, depending upon who the man is, at his core.

I suggest that you seek to date, have sex with, and ultimately marry only what I call a Good Man, who has all of these four characteristics as part of his personality.

why women love bad boys

A Good Man…

o Has good values and tells the truth;

o Is conscious of what is going on in his world and of how he lives his life;

o Is a nice person (very key!), and supportive of his woman;

o Is positive, optimistic, and happy

“Bad boys” are missing one or more of these important, long-term characteristics. Good Men have all four characteristics as part of who they are. On top of that, if they are exciting, unconventional, handsome, extravagant, outrageous, and spontaneous…wow, that’s great. But, if they lack good values, awareness, niceness, and positiveness, those additional considerations may well play out negatively in the long-term.

If you truly are happy thinking only of the short-term with a particular man, go ahead and get involved with Johnny Exciting-and-Handsome. But don’t expect long-term happiness unless Johnny is also a Good Man. Be honest with yourself, I tell you: Are you in this relationship for the short-term or the long-term?

Check your Boyfriend's Bank Balance and money before dating Because later in the end Money becomes important than love also for your expenses.so date your boyfriend after making sure that he has enough to handle your expenses.

how to check boyfriend's assets money bank balance

How to check boyfriend bank balance

As much as we'd love to tell ourselves otherwise, good looks and a winning personality aren't all that matter. The blunt reality is that money is the #1 cause of divorce in the U.S. And when it comes to matters of not just the heart but money as well, there's no better time than a first date to find out if your new guy cuts the proverbial mustard! After all, notes Leslie Greenman, you don't want to become emotionally involved with someone who doesn't have the same approach to money as you do.

Dating is all about learning, and one of the most important things you need to know is if your date is good with his money, says Greenman, a financial advisor and author of the new book Dating Our Money: A Women's Guide to Confidence with Money & Men (AuthorHouse, 2011). While the first flush of romance can be a head-spinning experience, make sure you do your homework prior to giving your heart away. Forget about anyone who won't meet you halfway with a healthy approach to money. Make sure he is getting on the right track if he hasn't been before, and keep an eye out for telltale signs of slip-ups.

So how do you find out whether your guy is money conscious, and better yet, how do you do so gracefully so early in the relationship?

BRING CASH

Have cash with you on the date so when it is time to pay, you can offer to cover your half with cash. While you're offering to pay, mention to him that you don't like to use credit cards and wait to see how he responds. You might be surprised at how he reacts.

A date once told me that he wished his ex-wife had had the same philosophy with credit cards," says Greenman. "He told me she racked up $70,000 in credit card debt -- money he was left paying back. That was a huge surprise! But it opened the door for me to find out more from him about his financial health without having to ask point blank.

CHECK OUT HIS WHEELS

Is your date driving a flashy sports car, but you know he's in the first job of his career? Is he driving a more modest set of wheels but you know he's in a leadership position at work? The type of car he drives when taken into consideration with his career can be an indicator of how he spends and budgets his money. It might also indicate that he turns to material objects for fulfillment.

We all hope at some point for a fairy tale complete with Prince Charming whisking us away in his carriage, says Greenman. Remember, though, you're not marrying the guy's sports car, and you certainly don't want to wind up in a situation where you're paying for it if he can't.

ASK ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS FAMILY

Often, he'll give you the information you want without you having to pry. For example, he might reveal that his divorce from his wife resulted because of money issues. Or he might reveal that he was raised in a middle class family with frugal parents.

While he might not necessarily still follow the money values and habits his parents raised him with, finding out about his parents is a great way to learn what his initial lessons about money entailed, notes Greenman. And naturally, awkward though it may be, finding out if he's carrying around any financial baggage from a past relationship is a must. Remember, though, that if he is, that doesn't mean you have to give him the boot. It's all about finding out if he approaches those financial bumps in the road in a fiscally responsible way.

FIND OUT IF HE IS RELUCTANT TO DISCUSS DIFFICULT SUBJECTS

The best approach might be to ask him about his past relationships. Did they end well? Does he still talk with any of his exes? If he is very reluctant to talk about his relationships, it could be a red flag that he won't be able to communicate about difficult decisions if you're in a relationship.

Communicating, listening and sharing are integral parts of a successful

partnership, advises Greenman. Make sure this guy knows how to not only share his thoughts but also to listen to yours. Life is full of decisions and ups and downs -- how has he handled his own past issues?

CHECK OUT HIS PHONE

On average, people spend $150 on phone apps per year, but some people have bills as high as $900 per year. Is that a luxury you feel comfortable with? Check out your date's phone, recommends Greenman. Is it the latest, greatest smartphone model? Ask him what his favorite app is and whether he gets only free ones. If it appears he spends a lot of money each month on something as trivial as phone apps, consider how he might spend money in other areas. On the other hand, if he has an app that helps him manage his monthly budget, that's probably a good sign!

GO ONLINE

With all of the information available online, you can find out a lot about someone with a quick search. For example, you can check if a person has paid their property taxes by searching online public records.

It may seem like playing a game of I Spy, but if you are going to give your heart to someone, and commit to a lifelong partnership, at the very least you need to be able to trust them, says Greenman. Before you even go on that first date, you might want to do some research. If you find a record online of his eight counts of tax evasion, go ahead and cancel your evening out!

LOOK AT HIS FACEBOOK PAGE

Has he posted a lot about expensive clothes or gadgets that he's bought? Or about being low on money? Are the pictures he has posted of him with other people or with his stuff?

Facebook is a great way to find out about your date's life without ever having to ask an awkward question about money," notes Greenman. You want to be romantically involved with someone who not only has the time, but makes the time, to be with you and share your life. If this guy can only post pictures of himself on his Facebook page, or if he is constantly bragging about all the latest stuff he's bought, picture a big red flag. It could be an indicator that either A) he's overspending on unimportant items or B) he thinks he can use money to impress people or buy their love.

THINK ABOUT YOUR DEAL BREAKERS

If your date has only one or two of these faults, you might still want to give him a chance and that's OK,notes Greenman.Be clear about your own goals and expectations and stick to those when you're deciding on whether you should go on a second date.

Real love is about forming a partnership between two people who care enough about one another to make responsible decisions in all aspects of life, including finances, says Greenman. Forget about getting swept away until you make sure you won't get tossed overboard or financially sunk in the process! When you're confident that you've found someone who is as financially aware as you are, you can develop other aspects of the relationship with less anxiety.

Does my Boyfriend Really Love Me

When in a relationship, there comes a time an individual may not be able to differentiate between true love and puppy love. So, if you often wonder whether your boyfriend loves you truly, then here is a simple guide that reveals some signs about a relation that's for keeps.

When Boyzone crooned 'Love me for a reason', they sure did get all their reasons across! After all, everyone wants true love at some point in their life no matter how much they may deny this fact initially! Girls who are on the lookout for a truly committed person may often be plagued with thoughts such as, 'Does my boyfriend really love me?' Well, to tell you the truth girls, love is something that cannot be measured and true love can be felt from within. Sometimes, words are never enough to describe one's feelings and only the vibes you share with your boyfriend may truly reveal what he feels. So, if you are still wondering if your boyfriend loves you or not, then here's a quick checklist that should help you to gauge his feelings and know where your relationship is heading towards.

You know it's true love when...

He always makes it a point to communicate with you. If your boyfriend loves to talk to you and listens to your joys and sorrows, he sure is taking a deep interest in you. True love is not just about hanging out at coffee shops, it's about being knowing and communicating with each other.

You know it's true love when...

He goes out of his way to make you happy. For example, you may love to watch movies and he may be more of a sports freak. If he gets you the backseat tickets for a Saturday night simply because you wanted to watch the latest release, you can rest assured he honestly loves you! When your boyfriend makes a special effort to spend more time with you or wants to get to know you better by doing things you love, it's definitely a sign of true love!

You know it's true love when...

His priorities revolve around you. Does he make it a point to put other things on the backseat? Does he involve you in his decisions always? If you are his priority, chances are he will always hold you as the most important factor in life. Looking forward to spending weekends together or spending time with you rather than going in for a booze party would only show he appreciates time spent with you. If he has his priorities right in life, you will figure in many of his plans!

You know it's true love when...

He takes you home to meet his family. A boyfriend who intends to be more than just a boyfriend would make it a point to introduce you to people who matter the most to him in life, be it family or friends. If your boyfriend makes a special effort to help you establish a relation with his near and dear ones, then you would definitely know it is heading in the right direction.

You know it's true love when...

He remembers all special and important days. It could be anything, your birthday or an anniversary! If he remembers days that hold importance for you, then girl! You have him hooked already! A man would probably need to make a special effort to keep important dates in mind and you can be tension-free if he is a making an effort in this direction!

You know it's true love when...

He gives you the freedom to express and be yourself. If your boyfriend makes it a point to avoid dominating you and lets you be your natural self, then there can be no two ways to the way he feels. He loves you for what you are and does not wish to change a thing about you! Freedom of expression and being the true 'you' is very much required to have a relationship that's for keeps!

    Happy St. Patrick's Day....of course!

    To contact us Click HERE
As usual, I'm a little late....of course! I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe St. Patrick's Day.

Being that the holiday was on a Thursday, Matt and I did the responsible thing. We stayed in instead of fighting the drunken crowds at every drinking establishment around town.

However, I am not one to pass up any reason to celebrate! Thursday night for dinner Matt and I followed tradition....of course!

We dined on corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes.

Whose tradition? Not mine, I'm not Irish, but Matt is! Whether or not this was his tradition before is highly debatable, however it will now become just that.
As would only seem correct with most of our celebrations, this dinner is not exactly authentic IrishIt is very much an Irish American tradition. The celebration of St. Patrick was first noted as an official holiday in the 17th century. At that time in Ireland beef was considered a delicacy. Pork and bacon were much more commonly seen around the dinner table. A broiled piece of bacon was traditionally used in Irish meals. During the Great Famine of the 18th century many Irish immigrated to America. It was here in the states, where it was more affordable and accessible, that beef was substituted during dinner.

So, Cheers! To the Irish, St. Patrick, Irish Americans, and well drinkers around the world....of course!

Fun Fact: President Abraham Lincoln's Inaugural Dinner Menu consisted of Corned Beef and Cabbage with Parsley Potatoes!

    UPDATE!!
    Corned Beef Hash
With this quick breakfast idea in mind, I saved a small portion of the corned beef and potatoes from Thursday's dinner for Sunday's breakfast. I've never been a fan of corned beef hash. I personally can't stand the taste or texture. Everything about it says NO! to me. However, with my leftovers and "I can make anything taste good" attitude I decided to try my hand at this classic breakfast dish.

    Of course....it was delcious!

The corned beef and potatoes were so crispy, the egg just perfectly cooked. When you cut into the egg the yolk oozed into the hash!

Matty and I both were very pleased with the outcome!

    I'm baaack..Asparagus Fritters

    To contact us Click HERE
After a super long hiatus I’m back. Caught up in the whirlwind of life I somehow allowed blogging to fall off the To Do List. What thisnow means is that I have a surplus of recipes, pictures and even a foodfestival to throw in. So enjoy!I found this recipe while browsing through another blog,Closet Cooking. I always enjoy trying new things, new concepts, even putting anew twist on an old favorite. I thought this was a great recipe to try becauseI love asparagus and who doesn’t care for a little bit of fried goodness? Here is Kevin from Closet Cooking's Recipe……..Asparagus and Feta FrittersIngredients
    • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
    • 1 handful dill, chopped
    • 1 handful parsley, chopped
    • 2 green onions, chopped
    • 1/2 cup feta, crumbled
    • 1 egg
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 cup flour (I like to use whole wheat)
    • 2 tablespoons oil
Directions1. Grate or process the asparagus in a food processor. (I actually just chopped-Ruby)2. Mix the asparagus, herbs, green onions, feta, flour, egg, salt and pepper and enough flour that the mixture will hold together.

    3. Heat the oil in a pan.

    4. Spoon the asparagus mixture into the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.

Avgolemono SauceIngredients·        1 egg (lightly beaten)·        1/2 lemon (juice)·        1 tablespoon dill chopped·        1 tablespoon capersDirections1. Whisk the egg in bowl until frothy.
    2. Slowly whisk in the lemon juice followed by the water.
    3. Heat in a small sauce pan while whisking until the sauce thickens, mix in thedill and capers and remove from heat. (Do not bring it to a boil.)
I tried the fritters two different ways. Of course as I wasmaking the first batch I tried a few as a snack. They are delicious on theirown. I imagine they would make a great accompaniment to a salad or also servedas an edible garnish aside a meat dish. For dinner I served the fritters toppedwith a poached egg and avgolemono sauce just as Closet Cooking suggests. The egg and light zestiness of the sauce definitely complimented the frittersin their search to become a full meal. I served them alongside roasted potatoes and green beans with parmesan olive oil sauce from SteamFresh. Overall, a very delicious meatless dish.

Norton Spot takes on Android Madware! Do you have an android phone? Are you protected?

In my household, 4 out of 5 cell phone users have an iPhone. The last hold out has an android phone. I'm not sure if she will ever do the switch over. So for now, I have one teen on her own in the android world. I never though much about this until I heard that madware was on the rise for android phone users. Do you know anything about madware?
We learned that madware is aggressive mobile advertising which include apps that continuously update your phone with push notifications, create unauthorized desktop shortcuts and secretly collects your personal information. Creepy? Yes very and this made me really concerned for my teen and her phone. Supposedly this madware is only on android phones and not something my daughter nor I were aware of. Knowing this, my teen and I reviewed Norton™ Spot which is an ad blocker, detector, killer and stopper of this madware.
Here are a few things we learned about madware:
    • It collects your phone number
    • Collections your local information and location
    • Displays ads on your notification bar
    • Modifies your web browser bookmarks
    • Sends text message ads
    • It deliberately hides from ad detectors
My teen went to Google Play and quickly installed the Norton Spot on her phone within minutes. Norton Spot scanned her phone and identified apps that had issues on her phone. Once the problem areas were identified she was given the option to keep the app or remove it. She really like that this app sorted the apps by potential annoyance levels.
We are thrilled to report that her phone was clean for now but did have a few apps with minor annoyance level. Norton Spot madware blocker will stay on the phone to keep her phone and personal information safe by reporting was is on the phone and it will give her options to keep the app or remove it.
So what do you think about this? Do you add apps from developers that you do not know? I personally felt comforted after my daughter installed Norton Spot on her phone and allowed it to check for madware. We both like how it explained and ranked the annoyance levels of ads as well as giving her the option to remove them. Will you check out Norton Spot?
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Norton. I received a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.

5 Tips For Successful Long Distance Relationships

    To contact us Click HERE

With the mushrooming of online dating sites where you will probably meet (and even fall in love) with a man who lives far away from you then the issue of long distance relationships becomes a concern for you. You wonder how you can successfully date over such a distance and what you can do to make sure that your relationship works. What are the tips for long distance relationships?

    Discuss your expectations.

For any relationship to work you have to come to an understanding of what you are both giving and getting from the relationship. Is your long distance boyfriend allowed to casually date other women but tell you about them or is he supposed to date only you? Is he to be faithful to you and what does that faithfulness entail? As clearly as possible define what it is that you expect from him as nothing breaks a relationship like mismatched expectations that nobody talks about.

    Live life to the full.

It is tempting to put your life on hold and just focus on him but you must continue living life on the full lane. Have a healthy interest in your hobbies and in improving yourself so that you are not always sitting at home missing your faraway boyfriend.

    Keep the negativity down.

Long distance relationships require that the time you do spend together online or on the phone is memorable and positive. This does not mean that you pretend that all is well but it does mean that you want him to look forward to spending time with you and if all you say is negative then he will lose interest in you as a way of dealing with your negativity.

    Be yourself!

Yes you may be tempted to Photoshop your whole life or to tell him things that are not totally true but if you want a long distance relationship that has a future then refrain from the lies. You don't have to tell him all your faults (he will discover them soon enough) but don't tell blatant lies either. Be as authentic as you possibly can be.

    Discuss THE deal breakers.

For a long distance relationship to work then you must discuss what you both cannot tolerate in a each other and from each other so that you know where the relationship barriers are. This will let you decide if this is a price that you are willing to pay for this romance.

Long distance relationships have peculiar challenges that must be dealt with upfront so that you don't waste each other's time.

Acne is the most common problem in teenage and many adults these days. here is a complete step by step procedure for how to get rid of acne scars.Acne or pimples are the result of hormonal changes and improper diet in teenage. In youth acne results due to improper diet, stress and bad hygiene. To get rid of acne we have to get into its root cause.Popping pimples are caused mainly due to over secretion of oil from the skin. Many a times acne cure is possible by natural home remedies only. You have to make small changes in your lifestyle and by using home remedies you can get rid of acne and acne scars naturally at home. Following are some tips for curing acne and acne scars naturally at home.so below tips are based on your query how to get rid of acne scars.

    Got a Pimple?

This article will show you step-by-step the easiest and quickest way to getting rid of acne scars, rid of a big zit, using only free ingredients you have at lying around at home. The best way to get rid of a pimple fast is to prevent your acne from happening in the first place, but this is not a perfect world, and you have probably done everything you can to keep your pimples from surfacing, but no matter what they're still there. Don't worry! There are two quick ways to get rid of it, usually within just one day! (how to get rid of acne scars)
Note: After you get rid of your zit, you will want to know how you can prevent pimples from ever surfacing again. I wrote another article describing in complete detail how you can prevent 100% of future pimples by using a completely natural and free method (and its easier than you think).

    1st Method: Hot Compress

***Use the hot washcloth method only if your pimple has broken the surface of your skin (if your zit is a white head, black head, oozing, or you just really, really, want to pop it for how to get rid of acne scars)
--First, scrub your skin with a quality face wash
--Soak a washcloth (or cotton ball, paper towel) in hot water
--Use the washcloth on your zit for at least 20-30 minutes, resoaking it in hot water again when needed.
--Dry your skin by patting gently with a dry washcloth
--Now the tricky part - popping the pimple. It should look waterlogged by now, and will be easy to pop, just make sure NOT to press down, as this will force bacteria deeper inside the pimple causing a bigger zit.
-Apply some benzoyl peroxide to the zit (or any treatment cream you have) right after you pop it. This will remove any excess bacteria.
All in all this takes about 30 minutes - 1 hour. But your zit should be gone within 2 days.

    2nd Method: Freezing

*** This is the fastest method for getting rid of acne scars to use if your zit is still beneath the skin - if its not a white head or black head, and there is no puss coming out of it (gross I know).(how to get rid of acne scars)
-- First, wash your face like you normally would with an acne cleanser
--Now that you've removed any surface oils, use a frozen ice pack to freeze the pimple. Don't worry if you can't find a freeze pack, you can easily create one by wrapping some ice in foil.
--Leave the ice on the pimple for 10 minutes
--As soon as the time has passed or you can't take the cold anymore, you can remove the ice pack and immediately rub some benzoyl peroxide on the zit.
--Follow these steps again every 5 hours
The way this process works is that by freezing the pimple, you are preventing any more oils and bacteria from spreading and causing a bigger zit. The benzoyl peroxide is essential because after the ice pack is used, it helps to dry up any oils that may have spread. If you do this correctly at least 3 times in one day, your pimple should be gone by the next day.and hence i think you get an answer of how do you get rid of acne scars.

Want to Prevent Pimples From Ever Happening Again?

Curing acne doesn't need to be as difficult as it seems. I suffered with severe acne for years before I figured out what works best for me, but using my free guide and my free acne assessment test, you can discover what will cure your acne right now (it will take a total of about 20 minutes to read through it and take the test). The trick is, you have to get to the ROOT of the problem before acne will go away - and the way to do that is covered in complete detail in The Acne Solution.(how to get rid of acne scars)
If you are finally fed up with waking up in the morning with new zits on your face, you need to take the Acne Test I've created. The test will tell you exactly why you have acne, and exactly what you can do to cure it. Keep in mind that this is completely natural and using absolutely free methods.(how to get rid of acne scars)

Here are some tips to follow that you probably never knew help cure acne:How To Get Rid of Acne scars

#1. The single most important thing you need to be able to cure your acne is to know what is causing it in the first place. Learn the cause of your acne - and you know the cure.
#2. Try to stay as hydrated as possible. Most people do not know that dehydration is one of the top 3 causes of acne.
#3. Avoid caffeine. Its kept very hush-hush that caffeine is one of the leading causes of acne. It messes with your hormones, which leads to break-outs!

Your skin is your largest organ, and it does a lot more than simply prevent you from spilling out all over the place. Skin cells are constantly replacing themselves, making a journey from the inner edge of your epidermis (your skin's outermost layer) to the outside of your skin. As a skin cell ages and approaches the skin's surface, the dying cell flattens out. Once on the surface, it joins countless other dead skin cells and forms a protective layer that helps protect you from bacteria and viruses.(how to get rid of acne scars)
Inside your hair follicles, there are small glands producing oil called sebum. This oil mixes with skin cells in the follicle and joins them on the journey outward. But when there's too much sebum, too many dead skin cells or something on the surface that blocks their exit from the follicle, a blockage can occur. Bacteria joins the party, and the result is acne vulgaris, the most common form of acne.(how to get rid of acne scars)
While acne usually affects teenagers and 20somethings the most, anyone of any age can get acne, even babies. Our instinctual response -- picking at it, rubbing it and canceling our social engagements -- doesn't help in the least, but fortunately, there are some treatments available that can.So what can we do to get rid of acne? Let's talk more that instinctual response next.(how to get rid of acne scars0

Popping a zit can spread infection under the skin and produce even more pimples than before. If you do pop a spot then immediately clean it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in order to prevent infection
    37. Remove any make-up you have on. Wearing make-up can clog pores, making them dirty and causing pimples
    38. Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn't matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.
    39. Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too
    40. Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin
    41. Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide, which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster
    42. Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you've gotten your acne cleared up, it's important to continue with the treatment that's working so it does not return.
    43. Understand that if all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don't need them or for something they don't treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria
    44. Keep hair off of your face if at all possible. If you want to keep your bangs, then consider taking showers regularly or keeping your forehead clean with oil-dabbing cloths / clean tissues / etc.
    45. Get some good sleep. Stress increases your skin's oiliness, which, combined with sweat and dirt, can clog pores and cause pimples. (Change your pillowcase frequently.)

    Happy St. Patrick's Day....of course!
